NAMEPLATE "YORKSHIRE EVENING POST" and badge. This 'reflective' pair was carried by the British Railways BoBo 2250 H.P. diesel electric HST Power Car 43157 of Class 254 in Set 254035. It was built at Crewe in January 1981 under Lot 30946. About 1984 it became loco stock becoming Class 43. It was named "Yorkshire Evening Post" at Leeds City Station on 12th January 1984 by Malcolm Barker, the Editor. The original nameplates were replaced with the reflective pattern in June 1991. The Power Car is still in service with Virgin Trains. The nameplate is 43" long, the badge 9" square with the detail partially repainted.
