NAMEPLATE “RAYNHAM HALL”. This 48” cast brass curved nameplate, with its rear lugs, was carried by the LNER “Sandringham” B17/2 class 4-6-0, LNER 2811, built at Darlington and emerging to traffic on 22nd August 1930. It became LNER 1611 from 8th February 1946; BR 61611 from 9th April 1949, and was rebuilt to Class B17/6 in February 1956. Latterly an Ipswich, March and Norwich engine, it was withdrawn from there on 14th October 1959 and cut up at Doncaster in February 1960. The plate is in ex-loco condition.
