NAMEPLATE “QUEEN ELIZABETH II”. This nameplate was carried by the British Railways Class 91 BoBo 6300 H.P. OHWE 91029 built at GEC and Crewe as Lot 1517 emerging to traffic on 23rd January 1991. It was named by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at Kings Cross on 28th June 1991. The nameplates were removed in April 1997 and the locomotive is still in service with GNER. A ‘reflective’ style plate, 39¼”x6”, in fine original condition (see Lot 276).
