NAMEPLATE "PRONGHORN". This 43" cast brass nameplate was carried by the LNER B1 Class 4-6-0, 1035, built at Darlington as Works No. 2015, and emerging to traffic on 31st October 1947. It was renumbered by BR 61035 on 25th May 1949, was latterly a Neville Hill, Blaydon, Heaton, Gateshead and York engine, and was finally withdrawn on 12th December 1966 from York to be cut up by Drapers of Hull by May 1967. The plate is lightly face-polished and repainted only with plenty of knocks.
