Extraordinary porcelain bowl depicting Cupid surrounded by gilt grapes and vines driving a cart drawn by a goat. According to Greek mythology, Dionysos took the form of a wild goat when fleeing from the monster Typhon. It is marked on the underside with the crowned N mark characteristic of Capodimonte (Naples) porcelain. Date of manufacture unknown, possibly 19th Century.
