My Man (Warner Brothers, 1928). Lobby Cards (4) (11" X 14"). Fannie Brice performed with the Ziegfeld Follies from 1911 until 1923, and is considered one of Broadway's greatest comediennes. In this, her first screen appearance, Brice displays her unique brand of humor, wit and talent. Brice performing the classic "Second-Hand Rose" is featured on one of the lobby cards from this group. The film also features the songs "My Man," and "If You Want a Rainbow, You Must Have the Rain." The film revolves around Fannie's rise to stardom on the Broadway stage. One of the lobby cards has a light dust line on the left edge, and the cards with the yellow background have light dust spots (probably caused by the other cards that were once stacked on top). The group rates at Near Mint.
