<B>My Greatest Adventure #1 (DC, 1955) CGC VF 8.0 Cream to off-white pages.</B></I> The first issue of one of DC's mainstay titles as the publisher successfully transitioned from the Golden to Silver Age is a pretty tough find, especially in higher grades. In fact, at VF 8.0, this is the finest copy to be certified by CGC to date. The title ran for nine years, before becoming The Doom Patrol, a successful feature introduced in 1963. The pre-Code premiere issue featured a cover by Ruben Moreira and interior art by Bill Ely, two reliable and prolific artists for DC in this era. Overstreet 2006 VF 8.0 value = $875.
