My Favorite Year Peter O'Toole Autographed Poster
When the news of Peter O'Toole's death came out, everyone immediately thought of his stunning performance in "Lawrence of Arabia". And then a roller-coaster stream of magnificent images flashed through our collective conscience, as scenes from his greatest films flashed before our eyes: "The Ruling Class", "The Stunt Man", "Lion In Winter", Becket", "How To Steal A Million", and of course perhaps his most beloved, that of the delightful drunk movie star, Alan Swann in "My Favorite Year" (1982). His last curtain call in front of the "live" TV audience continues to be included in the top ten lists of the most heart-felt and "cry-out-loud" scenes in motion picture history. This is an original theatrical poster from the film. It has been anointed with the personal signature of Peter O'Toole. And, as an extra added prize, it is also autographed by the legendary songwriter Mitchell Parish, who wrote such classics as "Sophisticated Lady", "Moonlight Serenade", "Sleigh Ride", "Volare" and of course "Star Dust" which plays an important part in this film. In good condition (with fold marks). Comes with a Letter of Providence from Artie Kern who was the movie memorabilia consultant to the Song Writers Hall of Fame from 1980-1993. Approx 40"x27".
