Jahandar Shah (1712-1713 AD), silver rupee, Parenda mint, 'Abu al-Fath' couplet, AH 1125/RY Ahd, KM 363.18, 11.48g.

Good very fine, Very rare.

In the last month of AH 1124 a battle between Jahandar Shah and Farrukhsiyar took place in Agra and Jahandar Shah ultimately lost the battle, may be the news of his defeat had not reached some places and coins were still struck early in AH 1125. Parenda is at present known as Paranda in Osmanabad district of Maharashtra.
