Mrs. Hank Williams Hilltop Park Concert Poster
Audrey "Mrs. Hank" Williams Hilltop Park Concert Poster (1953). Hank Williams' first wife, Audrey, has been credited with being the driving force behind Hank. When she and Hank split up the final time, he was heard to remark "Audrey I won't live a year without you." Turns out Hank was right on the money; he died a year to the day, on December 31, 1952. Audrey had always wanted to be in the spotlight herself, and despite having a voice described as "like fingernails scraping down a blackboard," she appeared on several of Hank's recordings. After Hank's death, she paid second wife Billie Jean to drop her claim to the title of Hank's widow, and went on tour, no doubt carrying young Hank Jr. along with her. This brightly colored roadshow poster is from that initial 1953 tour, and measures approximately 14" x 22", and is in Very Fine condition.

Shipping: Flat Material, Large (view shipping information)
