Featured in this lot is this Mozarkite Crawford Knoll point aged from the Late to Terminal Archaic period and from 3,500 - 2,500 B.P. The point is a medium triangular with an expanding stem with side notch point with an elliptical cross section. The blade is slightly excurvate, the shoulders are sharp horizontal and shows a stem that is expanding with an convex base. The point is napped from Mozarkite; Mozarkite ranges from hues and shades of gray, brown, pink, purple, and green. Concentric banding or mottling is present. The condition of this point is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition. The measurements of this point are 3 3/8" x 1 3/4" x 1/2". The point was taken in Jefferson county in Iowa and found fay Jones X-B Talbert.
