Kauba Was Famed For His Portrayals Of Iconic Images Of The American Frontier, Which Is Particularly Remarkable Since He Never Had The Opportunity To View His Subject Matter In Person. The Sculpture Is Finished With A Classic Patina In Tones Of Browns And Black That Enhances The Beauty Of The Horse And The Rocky Landscape Upon Which It Proudly Stands. Mounted Onto A Black Marble Base. Bronze Dimensions With Marble Base: Height 12 X Width 14 inches. Weight: 20 Lbs. This Is Not An Original Of His Work But A Recent Reproduction.
