In part: “I have not written any book myself although the script of the television series of my life and times was issued by John Terraine with my authority and can still be got in paper back form ‘The Life and Times of Lord Mountbatten.’ A book I am sure you would enjoy is called Freedom at Midnight…This gives an account of my time in India during the Transfer of Power. I am indeed a fellow member of the Magic Circle and always enjoy the evenings there, particularly this time with the Prince of Wales.” In fine condition.
