Two vintage matte-finish 7 x 9 photos, one of the officer in military dress, signed and inscribed in the lower border in blue ink, “To Roy Allison with many thanks for the coast to coast tour he organized of the USAF, Mountbatten of Burma, A.F., 1954,” the other of his wife, signed and inscribed in black ink, “To Col. R. Allison, with gratitude, Edwina Mountbatten of Burma.” Both photos are housed in their original blue presentation frames, each with Mountbatten’s gold crest at the top. In fine condition, with mild border toning to Edwina’s photo, with her signature and inscription a shade light.
