In part: “God love you for your generous gift…I wanted so much to write & thank you, but I am sure you will be happy to hear from India. Our new foundation in Southall seems to be doing well. I hope you will be able to go & see the sisters someday. Kindly pray that we get many fervent vocations during these days of elections. Please pray for our people that we may all choose wisely.” In fine condition, with intersecting mailing folds, and scattered light creases and wrinkles. In the 1971 general elections in India, Indira Gandhi steered Congress to a landslide victory. Quite scarce in handwritten letters, particularly with political content.
