This will probably be one of the most significant firearms auctions held in North America this year. The quality, diversity, and quantity are most impressive. Included are numerous collections such as the important old-time collection of the late Eldon Owens sold unreserved (probably one of the finest quality groupings of Winchesters sold at auction in years), the collection of the late John G. Hamilton including rare and historic Colts, the collection of the late Frank Ciak, a small sampling of goods from the late Howard Green collection, also the collection of Mr. Howard Troy including the largest offering of V. Fogerty carbines ever offered at auction (17).
