Mosin Nagant Russian Made 1942 Tula Factory WW2

The Mosin Nagant is a five-shot, bolt-action, internal magazine fed military rifle.
Known officially as the 3 line rifle M1891. In Russia and the former Soviet Union as
Mosin's rifleand informally just mosinka, it is primarily chambered for the 7.62×54R
cartridge.

Developed from 1882 to 1891, it was used by the armed forces of the Russian
Empire, the Soviet Union and various other states.

Rifles fired a black powder proof round in the factory to help check for imperfections
in the metal. If the rifle passed the test, it was marked with a Cyrillic П in a circle as
this one has.

This is a great example of the this rifle with markings that indicate made in the Tula
Factory in 1942

Wood is in good condition and with some dents and scratches.
Has the original sutt plate.

The barrel is the round receiver and round barrel. Bolt number does not match the
receiver which is very common with WW2 made military rifles.
The bore has strong rifling but is dark.

Overall condition is 8/10.
