Second Prime Minister of Israel (1894–1965) who served from 1954–1955. ALS in Hebrew, signed “M. S.,” one page, 5.5 x 8.5, State of Israel letterhead, 1953. Short letter to the Prime Minister. In full: “Have pleasure during the holiday. Happy New Year to you, Paula, and your children—the big and the smalls.” Sharett also adds a brief postscript regarding a comparison between Israel and ancient and modern Greece. In fine condition, with intersecting mailing folds, paperclip impressions to top edge, and punch holes to right edge. RRAuction COA.
