Moshe Gat Large Signed Israel Framed Print Men In Boats
This is a woodcut print of men in boats on the water, and it is an unusually large one for the artist. Sections of the fishermen image have been sold individually at hundreds of dollars, but this is the entire work. Mr. Gat also signed this in person at the Guggenheim Museum in New York while he was there for an exhibit. That makes this a unique piece from the renowned artist. * Artist: Moshe GatSignature: In pencil, lower rightMedium: Woodcut on paperDate: 1960, marked lower right * Image size: 35 1/2 × 20 inchesFraming: In rustic wooden frameFrame size: 23 3/4 × 39 inchesCondition Very good - some rippling to the surfaceBiography: * Moshe Gat (Palestine, 1935) studied at the Bezalel School, in Jerusalem.
