This is a moose hide carriage blanket from Livingston, Montana circa early 1920-1940. The blanket was made by and is marked "Lentfer Taxidermists and Furriers Livingston, Montana". The iconic Jonas Brothers started a taxidermy shop in Livingston, Montana and the Lentfer Brothers bought them out and changed the name in the 1920's. The blanket is in good overall condition for its age and shows only a few signs of wear. The piece measures approx. 60"x75".
