Manufactured by Moore circa 1860 to 1865. No visible barrel address or serial number, with no front sight. The silver plated brass frame has a broad scroll engraving with the grip area having checkered panels on the sides and fancy checkering on the back. The sides of the barrel feature wedges of scrollwork at the breech with a star and arrow motif. Checkered spur trigger and hammer, with the barrel release button on the right side of the frame and curved trigger sheath.

Fine. The barrel has a smooth gray patina with limited traces of original blue finish in the protected areas. The frame retains approximately 50% of the original silver plating with the exposed brass having an even aged patina. The engraving is clear and crisp. Mechanically fine.
