Large limited edition Hidden Dreams vase from Moorcroft Pottery, designed by Rachel Bishop and Emma Bossons in 2005. This monumental baluster-shaped ceramic vase features a wide flared rim and a rich high-gloss glaze over deeply carved tube-lined decoration. The design showcasing vibrant scenes inspired by natural landscapes and wildlife. The imagery includes a heron among reeds, frogs leaping near water lilies, a butterfly resting among foliage, stylized magnolia blooms, and a serene depiction of Ayers Rock (Uluru) against a setting sun. The scenes are unified by curving floral and botanical motifs, flowing seamlessly around the surface of the vase. The color palette consists of bold greens, deep blues, rich reds, and soft purples, layered over a dark ground, with fine outlines accentuating the natural forms. The underside of the vase is signed by Rachel Bishop and by Emma Bossons. It also bears the impressed Moorcroft mark, a limited edition inscription numbered 29/50. The dimensions are approximate.
