This charming Moorcroft mini vase, circa 1949, features the iconic Hibiscus pattern, which showcases raised and vivid floral decoration. The vibrant colors of the hibiscus flowers are beautifully contrasted against the deep green background of the vase, with the yellow petals and rich purple hues of the blossoms creating a striking visual effect. The tube-lined decoration reflects the Florian tradition established by William Moorcroft at the turn of the twentieth century, where raised slip outlines and translucent glazes created the glowing floral style that remains the hallmark of Moorcroft design. Crafted from ceramic and adorned with the distinctive underglaze technique, this piece is both a functional item and a collector's gem. The vase is signed with the classic Moorcroft stamp on the bottom, ensuring its origin from Stoke-on-Trent, England.
