This hand-decorated piece is crafted in the traditional Moorcroft tubelining technique and displays red and yellow freesia blossoms with green stems and leaves against a yellow ground. The design is rendered in relief with a glossy glaze. The form includes a rounded body tapering into a short neck and flared rim. This piece was designed as a lamp base and features a hole near the foot for wiring. Marked on the underside with Moorcroft backstamp.
