This Moorcroft perfume bottle stands 5.75"(14.5cm) high to top of stopper, and is 3.75"(9.5cm) in diameter.
In the Anemone pattern (designed by William in 1937 and revived by Walter in 1954) this piece was made around 1960, and still has it's original Royal Warrant paper label on the base. The Anemone design is very well executed with flower heads, buds and prongs painted in a slightly different colorway on each part. There is no damage whatsoever on the bottle or the stopper. There is glaze crazing on the cream background, which is a common occurrence on this color glaze, and there are a couple of tiny production nicks on the base. These occurred during potting manufacture and were glazed over in the factory.
These perfume bottles do not appear on the market too often, and this one is a very good example not to be missed.
