A small twin-handled ceramic vase designed by William Moorcroft during his tenure at James Macintyre & Co., featuring the renowned "Peacock Feather" design. The bulbous body is richly decorated with raised slip-trailed motifs of peacock feathers in deep blue and green tones against an olive-green ground, transitioning into a mottled ochre neck and handle area. The relief work is highlighted by hand-applied glazes that pool and accentuate the organic, Art Nouveau-inspired patterns throughout the surface. The base bears Moorcroft's signature in green along with additional hand-painted marks and the impressed registration number: Rd No 347807.
