<B>Monterey, VA</B></I> - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 626 <B>The First NB</B></I> Ch. # (S)9043<BR> This piece brings the total number of notes known from this bank to five. Chartered in 1908 and liquidated in late 1929, this bank was only able to issue large size notes totaling less than $400,000 in total face value. The printed details are boldly printed and the overall appearance is closer to VF.
