Found in a local estate, stored in a hope trunk. The family was from Montana so this more than likely was used and/or carried by a family member serving in the Montana Cavalry. Dated 1865, manufactured by Mansfield and Lamb. Phenomenal example. One of the nicest condition sabers we have ever seen. Dent in the scabbard as shown. Fresh to the market from an old collection.
