For your consideration is this Montana trophy Shiras moose shoulder mount. Shiras moose inhabit the Rocky Mountain region of the United States. This huge animal has very long legs, a large hump on its shoulders, and massive palmate antlers. The Shiras moose (Alces alces shirasi) has the smallest body of any North American moose. The body color is a rusty yellowish-brown. The bulls can grow to seven feet tall at the shoulder and can reach 10 feet in length. Mature Shiras Moose weigh 600 to 1400 pounds. Bull moose have antlers that can span five feet and weigh up to 50 pounds. The condition of this mount is good with no obvious signs of damage.
