This is an original handmade high-quality feather Damascus knife from the Montana Territory Knives of Bozeman, Montana. The knife blade has been forged from 396 layers of very high quality 1095HC (High Carbon) steel and 15N20 Nickel Carbon which is then heated and folded creating the astounding “Damascus” steel. The knife shows a beautiful raindrop ladder Damascus pattern. The hollow grind full tang blade is then paired with this exceptional premium Sambar Stag Antler grip scales which are accented by the inlaid beautiful bright blue and black matrix Turquoise. The handle shows a high polished stainless-steel bolster and finger rest with an artful inlaid stag spacer. The scales are held onto the full tang blade with two large mosaic pins made of brass and copper. At the end of the knife shows the lanyard loop hole which is also brass. Sambar Stag antler from India is one of the finest grip materials and is in high demand with very limited supply due to the current ban, this set is all pre-ban. The back of the blade tang shows intricate hand done vine file engraving work which artfully accents the already beautiful handmade knife. The piece shows a large drop point or needle bowie knife which is both exceptionally beautiful and wonderfully versatile. The knife has been paired with a Great American Bison Buffalo leather hand crafted sheath which has been partially hand tooled. The knife is in brand new condition and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity along with a Lifetime warranty. The blade is marked with the “MONTANA TERRITORY KNIVES BOZEMAN MONTANA” stamping which shows the outline of Montana. The knife measures overall 13 3/4” in length with the blade being 8 3/4” long. The sheath measures 13 ½” by 3”.
