Companies include Hinchman & Alward from Virginia City, and the Virginia City Masonic Lodge #1 which is the oldest lodge room in the nation in which a Grand Lodge was formed and is still in use. Many pieces of personal correspondence and bills of sale. Mining sample & equipment tags from Philipsburg Mining Company and Granite BiMetallic Cons. Mining Company. A very unique piece is a telegram from the War Department Signal Service U.S.A. United States Telegraph to Hinchman & Alward. Items are nicely preserved but exhibit varied marring from age tanning, foxing and slight tears. Ephemera are in plastic sleeves for protection. Sleeves measure 9.25"W x 11.5"L
