<B>Monster Greeting Card Complete Set of 50 - featuring Robert (R.) Crumb Art (Topps, 1966) Condition: Average VF.</B></I> Underground Comix pioneer Robert Crumb originally made his living as a commercial artist, designing cards for American Greeting in Philadelphia and, briefly, as a freelancer in New York. While in the Big Apple, Crumb designed this set of novelty bubblegum cards for Topps. Included in this rare set are all fifty of the cards, each featuring a full-color cartoon by R. Crumb on the obverse, followed by a joke photo on the reverse. While the individual cards do show up from time to time, finding a complete set in nice condition is not an easy task -- a check of our Auction Archives show no full sets have been offered by Heritage, until now. All cards are in beautiful unused condition, each with sharp corners and bright colors. Not listed in Fogel's or Overstreet. Key words: R.
