These three views reflect an unlabeled desert mining camp 1890-1900 from Burt Lundy estate of Lundy California. Photos show a camp in it very earliest days of development. the scenes are potentially on the 4th of July as there are about 20 people including women and an American flag in the view the 3rd photo is of 2 horses and loaded wagon, which may be at the edge of this same camp, as the volcanic mountain in the background appears to be the same. Wagon is loaded with heavy sacks with 2 men in the front seat escorted by a3rd man at the side on horseback. Left hand person in wagon holding rifle in upright position which is clearly a protective mode so this wagon must be full of high grade ore! Because these photos are from the Lundy coll'n this is probably a camp south of Lundy and perhaps between there and Bodie.
