This image of an jovial monk holding a cross and carrying his items with joy or was he an Robin Hood in order to feed the poor being overtaxed and burdened as then and / or as in 2014-2015 ? Or describe this happy monk as you please... like the modern or actual Pope? It's interesting and old as had it for over 50 years. On linen, near perfect condition with just a slight spot it seem near the bottom right. Image about 14 high by 10 and the frame is period likely 1940's or so being more than 18 high x 14 inches. The S. Leinbeck signature is lower right. Such religious picture are rare and can be added to your collection or start one.
