<B>Monitor-Merrimac 50th Anniversary Delegate's Badge.</B></I> Two red, white, and blue swallowtailed ribbons are anchored by a white metal hanger stamped DELEGATE. Below is a medallion of like composition on which the obverse depicts President Taft and John Ericsson above a rendering of the Monitor. The reverse provides descriptive text and is dated March 9, 1912. Overall size 2" x 5.25".
