Liberty Head U.S. $20 Gold Coin dated 1896. Liberty Head Gold coins are classic symbols of America’s 'golden' history. The series includes the first-ever $1 and $20 gold coins, inspired in 1849 by the California “Gold Rush.” The Liberty Head gold coins feature elegant designs that were last struck nearly a century ago in 1908. This particular $20 Gold Coin, that I am selling from my private collection, is dated 1896! It is set into a 14k Gold Money Clip and would make an outstanding gift and treasured momento from Americas' past.
