<B>Moline, IL</B></I> - $20 1882 Brown Back Fr. 499 <B>The Moline NB</B></I> Ch. # (M)1941<BR>An excessively rare note which was formerly part of the Shaw collection. It comes from a bank with just two examples extant, one of which has never been offered for sale and the other this piece, which has been offered at public sale only once. Moline is by far the largest community in Illinois that remains just about unobtainable to collectors, a fact demonstrated by the realization for this note when we sold it back in September of 2000, when it realized $11,000 in spirited bidding.
