Gandhi</B></I>" at the top of a mimeographed copy of <I>The Bombay Congress Bulletin,</B></I> two pages, 8" x 13", Bombay, December 31, 1930. The bulletin provides a wonderful view into the independence movement, midway through the struggle, and reads in small part: "<I>British Exploitation in India reveals to the world the ugliest aspect of the modern civilization. three hundred millions of people of this ancient land of unparalleled glory are reduced to the position of serfs in their own country... this exasperation expressed itself in the Independence Resolution passed last year at Lahore. The Nation made a grim determination to shape its own future as it liked and refused any longer to accept in any form and shape the despicable yoke of Britain.... Non-violence has, it must be admitted, thoroughly vindicated itself as a most effective method of putting the enemies always in the wrong. In the last Nine months during which it has been practiced, it has succeeded in destroying completely in the eyes of the world, the prestige of Britain...</B></I>" More fine content.
