Wright's upcoming Modern Design auction features numerous noteworthy designs from the 20th century – from an exceptional selection of Edward Wormley designs for Dunbar including a masterpiece Janus occasional table topped with Tiffany tiles, to works by Philippe Starck, from the personal collection of Ian Schrager, for the Morgans, Royalton and Paramount Hotels in New York. Continuing Wright's standard of excellence, a great selection of American mid-century designs by Charles and Ray Eames, Isamu Noguchi and George Nelson & Associates along with significant Scandinavian works by Alvar Aalto, Preben Fabricius and Jorgen Kastholm, Poul Kjaerholm and Hans Wegner will also be offered in this sale.
