Modern Design

In an increasingly selective market, Wright curates sales focused on custom works and rarely seen items. The sale offers a mix of contemporary and vintage pieces showcasing the style and diversity of the current market. Highlights include: one-off designs by Richard Meier, Paul Evans, George Nakashima and rare items by Gabriella Crespi, Harry Bertoia and Guy de Rougemont<BR><BR>

Utopia: Lost and Found<BR>
A single-owner sale featuring designs from one of the most radical periods in design history. 1960s and 70s Europe witnessed extreme experimentation with materials and forms that drastically changed the direction of design. When introduced, many of these works critiqued the traditions and applications of design, foreshadowing contemporary trends and establishing the designers as mavericks of their time.<BR><BR>

Utopia: Lost and Found includes designs that challenge, delight and surprise the eye. Fresh to the American market, the private collection is presented in a custom-designed catalog inspired by the works themselves.<BR>
