Model 98 action custom sporting rifle in 6 mm Remington Magnum caliber showing Douglas premium barrel and custom made Birdseye Maple stock by Kings Gun Works of Glendale,California. This rifle is mounted with a 2x7 power Leopold scoped on Redfield mounts. The rifle is in fine to near excellent used condition and was made for competition shooter and well-known collector John Goodlad by Kings Gun Works more than 40 years ago. The Birdseye Maple stock is finely made with great flame and burl. The forend cap and grip cap are made of hardwood probably Rosewood and show nice grain. The rifle measures 45”overall with 25” barrel and the stock measures 14” to the end of the pad. Medium weight The rifle shows a fine bore and has studs for quick detachable sling swivels.
