Model 1920 Commercial Artillery Semi-Automatic Luger Pistol, #6705m, .30 cal., 8'' barrel, blue finish, checkered walnut grips, extruded nickel magazine with Germany marked wood base. Left side frame flat engraved ''Germany'', safety marked ''GESICHERT'', extractor marked ''GELADEN''. Unmarked rear toggle link and chamber area. These 1920 Commercial Artillery models were made for commercial sales and basically consisted of newly assembled pistols from surplus military parts, as well as some newly mfg'd. This pistol is considered quite rare, as only a few examples are known in 7.65mm (.30 Luger). Condition is very good retaining approx. 75% original commercial blue, with moderate to somewhat heavy flattening to grip checks. Action is crisp, bore is fine. A scarce pistol in a very rare configuration. Est.: $2,000-$3,000.
