Model 1911A1, .45 ACP caliber, semi-automatic pistol, US property marked with full inspections contracted by Union Switch & Signal, Swissvale, PA, serial number “1087471”. A stunning Switch & Signal which is a 10 on a 10-point scale. Probably impossible to improve upon. Pictured on page 203 in Edward “Scott” Meadows’ “U.S. Military Automatic Pistols, 1884-1900”.
