Model 1911, .45 ACP caliber, semiautomatic pistol, by Remington U.M.C. Military blue finish, diamond-checkered wood grips, serial number “N013265”. The pistol shows all correct military markings and inspections, along with proper features for UMC including barrel. The pistol remains in excellent original condition with 98-99% plus original blue, just some miniscule losses at muzzle and operating areas and breech end of barrel. Near mint overall with pristine interior and bright blue. Just slight operation and minimal use. Correct two-tone magazine. The best Remington UMC we have ever cataloged as they are generally found well used. According to Edward “Scott” Meadows, author of “U.S. Military Automatic Pistols, 1884-1900”, 3,000 of the 4,921 pistols made in 1919 were shipped to the U.S. Navy. Est.: $5,000-$8,000.
