Description: Model 1881 Marlin Rifle in .40-60 caliber and with an octagon barrel. Appears to be pretty much all original. Made in about 1883. Maker: Marlin Fire-Arms Co., New Haven, CT. U.S.A. is on the barrel. Approx. Age: 1883. Size: 45” long overall. Condition: Pretty good for its age, wear and minor imperfections expected. Please look closely at the pictures - they are an important part of our description. Shipping: There will be a $10 handling / packaging fee for shipping this lot. The actual cost of postage will be added on top of that.
