Model 1879 Lee Navy bolt action rifle, .45-70 cal., 32-1/2” barrel, magazine fed, blue finish, full length wood stock, iron ramrod, with socket bayonet, #2131 in overall good to very good condition showing a dark patina with U.S.N. andanchor marking on top of receiver and inspector’s initials below serial number at same location; fair to good bore, correct magazine, very good wood stock with minor old mars and scratches from carry and storage. Bayonet is U.S. marked and inoverall good condition. Per Standard Catalog of Military Firearms, only approx. 1,300 of this Model were manufactured. (Antique). Est.: $750-$1,500.
