Maker: August Buermann. Approx. Age: Circa late 1800s. Size: 5” mouth and is 9.5” long overall. Condition: Pretty good for its age, but used. Additional Info: Barely visible with magnification is the words, “Hand Forged Steel” on one side of the mouthpiece and you can make out the Buermann “Star” hallmark on the other side. This is a Buermann version of the 1874 Shoemaker US Bit. Has US medallions on each side. Please look closely at the pictures - they are an important part of our description. Shipping: There will be a $5 handling / packaging fee for shipping this lot. The actual cost of postage will be added on top of that.
