Model 1873 Trapdoor U.S. Springfield SRC, 45-70 cal., 22” round barrel, brown patina finish, wood stock, #140323. This gun is in overall good condition showing an even brown patina on metal surfaces with clear “V”, “P” and eagle head proofs on left side of barrel at breech; good action and bore, good markings on lock plate, missing saddle ring but ring bar is present; good action, fair to good bore, stock is overall good with remnant of circle P cartouche, scattered nicks, mars andscratches from carry and storage; an old crack on the right side of the wrist behind the hammer and on the left side of the stock at the saddle ring bar.
