Model 1826 U.S. Naval Single Shot flintlock pistol by W. L. Evans, .54 cal., 8-1/2” barrel, brown finish, wood stock, 1831 dated lock, swivel metal ramrod, iron belt hook. This gun is in overall good to very goodcondition showing some pitting around the firing area; re-converted to flintlock, good action and markings including breech proofs; very good wood stock showing some wear to finish and a couple of old mars from storage. A scarce maker variation of which approx. 1,000 or less were manufactured. Est.: $1,400-$2,800.
