Model 1819 US flintlock single shot pistol by S. North, .54 cal., 10” round barrel, brown finish, wood stocks. This gun is in overall very good untouched condition showing a dark brown patina over metal surfaces including the iron mountings with scattered small points of erosion and pin prick pitting and some old mars on the butt cap from having been used as a tacking device; the action is good, the bore is overall good, the markings on the barrel at the breech are sharp as is the date “1821” at the rear of the lock plate; the “S. North” spread eagle with “U. and S.” on either side of the eagle are sharp and the “ MIDLtn Conn” is approx. 80% visible.
